Editorial design has had a special place in my heart since my first design class. Like completing a puzzle without looking at the box, I love the challenge of threading together spreads with formatting choices and dissecting the intricacies of typography to bring the bigger picture into full focus.

My appreciation for UX/UI lies within the practical purpose each design decision serves. Whether I’m collaborating with a team of engineers, working in a website builder, or teaching myself CSS for further customization, a user-centric approach is always top of mind. Through considering both desktop and mobile design, I meet the user with a seamless experience where they are and guide them to where they need to go.

The joy I derive from helping brands curate a visual identity is akin to helping a friend pick out the perfect outfit. I strive to find a synergy between strategic decisions and innovation in the same way I couple font families and color palettes. By ensuring decisions are rooted in the company’s brand value and target audience preferences, I select elements that help tell the brand’s story.
